Forests at night can be marvelous places, full of fairies, gnomes and other fantastic characters; they also can be terrible settings, inhabited by witches, werewolves and evil spirits. The forest featured in this screensaver is none of such things. It shows a rather dull image apparently created with the most basic graphic tools. The animated effect of the moving water is not convincing at all; the screen is divided into two parts by a straight line, which adds the unnatural feeling to the image, and the sound effects do little for enhancing the overall characteristics of the program.
The screensaver has a very basic control panel allowing you to set up some of its features, like size of the image and the speed of the animation. Also, you can enable or disable the sound effects. Besides its poor graphic quality, the program has a big drawback: its installation wizard forces you to install the ScreensaversList toolbar, and to change your browser's homepage to that of the company. Although you have a choice whether or not to set the ScreensaversList Customized Websearch as your default search engine, the installation wizard does it anyway, so this supposed "choice" is bogus. Install the program only if you want to get quickly disappointed.
